Came across a few other people who had done this would be interested to hear people's thoughts on my portfolio of undergraduate architecture work, sketches, diagrams, photographs etc.
Thanks for taking a look the "emit architecture" was a branding element I was toying with. I certainly may have gone a bit over zealous with it ill probably dial it back in future iterations. I appreciate the feedback
I wrote a really long response to this... but forgot about it while doing other things and closed the tab...
Biggest thing is what Jono said.
-My other main comment is a general criticism. Which is... I keep seeing portfolios where people are just trying to show off skills rather than the thought and care that went into whole projects. Group all the stuff for projects together and really show is what it's made of. Do you have plans or sections of any of this stuff?
-Personally I don't think you need any of the "ruin porn," your photography is great for the models, but I find the other photography distracting.
-I also don't think you need to explain what sketching is, but that goes back to my suggestion of putting stuff from single projects together....
-Some of the content is great. Love the models (though It's hard to make an assessment about the quality of the project it represents without more content from that project)
Anyway, hope that's helpful.

Thoughts on portfolio

Thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing thoughts and comments.
I think it's quite good (photos look great), but I don't see why you need to stamp "emitarchitecture" on every single page.
