Hello, this is my first post but I have been doing a lot of research on these boards in regards to some of the schools. I am currently a student at a CA community college and greatly want to transfer to into an architecture program in Southern California. I know I have some options but SCI_Arc, USC, and UCLA are the schools I would love to get into. I have put together a thorough portfolio but however my GPA has dipped below a 3.0. My questions is how much do these schools weigh in on GPA? Do they look more so into the portfolio? If anyone in these programs can offer me some guidance it would be great. Thanks!
not going to those schools, but i am pretty sure your question has been answered here a few different times in archinect.
gpa is not so impt IF you have an amazing portfolio.
