Wurdens idea is interesting - it brings up the topic then aren't general contractors just as if not more so to be architects under his system? They have much more intimate knowledge of construction than a 24 yr old architect. As far as design its still an undefinable asset that as another post points out - a public official wants craftsman/ architect wants modern - but what are we then licensing? Design asthetics or something more?
