hey Archinet friends, I have a question for you guys :) I have a MacBook Pro and I intened to install a xp in it. I'll be using the windows for autocad and maybe, revit and rhino in the future. So, I'm just wondering if I should install a home xp or pro xp? Btw, I'm a first year Arch student next month :) Please do advise me! :)
XP Pro offers better networking features and may be a little more stable. I would dish out the extra money for Pro, especially if I was installing it on a Mac.
pro - which also in admin - can run emulate mode of prior operating systems - such as dare I say it 98. allows olde expensive software to continue to run, run, run - great if you don't love to waste money. software is often more $$$ than computers. Its something to keep in mind.
XP Home or XP Pro?
