Does anyone know how to plot a batch of drawings in AutoCAD 2009? For instance, is it possible to plot an entire construction set from the .dwg format all at once? I'm really sick of opening a file and selecting "plot previous" over and over again...
save your plot profile
and when you open batch plot add all the files and tabs you want printed
and then select them all
then right click on the one that has that saved profile, select it and it applies that to the rest and save your batch if you want and plot..
that sounds great..but where is this "batch plot" option located? Also, i got a tip that using e-transmit and adjusting the settings may also work for plotting an entire set...

a separate icon on the start menu? or file > publish
make a desired page layout, then use publish.
k. publish works fairly well...except i have to sit there and select "yes" fo every single print. Still, it is a huge improvement. thanks.
selecting "yes" because i was printing .pdf's and the computer was asking me to confirm the file name and location.
what PDF printer? some have options to automate that
i was using one called "adobe pdf writer" but that's a good point...i'll try the other one we have.."distiller"
sheetset
