I just received a project to design the interior of a 4 story adult bar. I would be responsible for the bar design along with the roof top restaurant. I would also be doing some exterior work such as the framing for the rooftop restaurant. How much should I charge?
15% atleast... I mean .. Back splash workers charge anywhere from $500 to $1000+ for a tiling job that would cost about $300 in materials. Can you imagine if they charged 8% of the project cost?
I would probably charge somewhere between 8% and 15% of the overall project costs; as you haven't really given us any indication of your level of skill or anything it is hard to say for sure. Just make sure that you aren't under charging what your services are worth, as this is quite a large project and I imagine will take you some time to complete.
