Ok. I’ll try again.

Since we do most of our own MEP in house, does anyone know a good and cheep mechanical simulation program, or excel sheet, that can simulate energy costs against the ASHRAE 90.1-2004 benchmark.

We have been using COM check to establish compliance but I’d like to be able to say to Mr. or Ms Owner if you go with the SEER 21 of the SEER 19 you can expect to save xxx on the base energy consumption of your building. If you allow me to put in R38 or R40 in the roof assembly this should reduce your usage by YYY.

Based on energy of ZZZ dollars you have this amount of payback.
