I'm looking to have a fair understanding of the debates in an architectural theory. As a result i will like to explore the theories put forward from the early days probably starting from Vitrivius down to our age. Please is there any book which gives that kind of chronology,i wouldn't like any book which merely collects the theories and groups them into chapters ,i'd prefer a book which is quite understandable and has that kind of flow As i'm looking to read further on the theories from the main authors' books i'd prefer a book which summarizes the theories. Thank you
