Of course it is possible, but the school that accepts you will probably not place you within the fifth year, I can see being placed jn the 4th year, which would give you 2 years with the program. It is not an insane decision, it would simply add 1 year to your education and if you feel the school you wish to attend is worth it then you should not be too afraid.
