My site is working much better since i last posted. The hosting company did some changing and things got all messed up. SO, i switched hosting companies.
The site is functioning properly again and I've posted quite a few more tutorials. I'm also starting to 2 new categories, Softwares and Rapid Prototyping. The plans is to build a list of as many relevant softwares and technologies as possible that architects ans students (or anyone) could use. I feel we are always playing catch up with other industries (Manufacturing, Aerospace etc, etc...) so I figure a list of the tools they use could help get some insight into how they work.
So, feel free to comment or if your interested in adding to the list please let me know,
Dave, are you still around? Your videos are great, but I'm still having issues. Can you help, maybe?
And people, really? Tell me there is a much faster method of reviting than clicking on icons, ect. I know I just started the program today, but my gosh I could have a complete set of CDs done in ACAD before just getting a floorplan in revit. What am I doing wrong?
there are some keyboard quick keys that don't always seem to work properly…really though, speed only comes with practice, doesn't really help to hear though
soon you'll be trying to do Revit things in ACAD and cursing. Or just working in Revit and cursing (the ribbon is EVIL)…
designREFORM (David Fano) is still around, there's a couple of good 2010 tutorials up already. I've found his tutorials extremely helpful.
