i just really enjoy making mixes... always have.

im the type that once gave a mix which included Xiu Xiu songs to an ex girlfriend, and upon hearing her voice disapproval of the band, found my fondness for her irreparably damaged.

I've enjoyed listening to others' mixes (lletdownl) but did not finish getting my own uploaded til lastnight after the kids were in bed.

Forgive me for possibly being way stoopid, but is there a way to convert an mpeg-4 into an mp3?

do you use itunes? if so, itunes will do it. (i think)

I do use iTunes, but I don't see where to convert...

right click on the song you want, and select "convert selection to mp3"

Thanks, dread. I couldn't just convert to mp3, but I figured there was a reason you were saying I could...so I googled 'convert itunes mp3' or something like that. Found an article--I just had to change the default FROM Convert to AAC TO Convert to mp3.
