I mentioned it to Living in Gin, but I will be in New York from late this Saturday night until Wednesday, so I thought that maybe this might call for an NYC architect meetup... What do you guys think?
ok, so monday or tuesday... either way doesn't matter for me. I'm counting on one of you locals to name a place. I'm staying a couple of blocks west of Central Park, if that makes any difference. But I'm willing to get around by subway, so we're not necessarily limited to that area.
looks like i'll miss another ny meet up yet again, currently in overdrive trying to build our new office space by the 1st, doubt i'll be able to make it in time
present - i was just in brighton last weekend actually, funny place, i don't think you'll have any issue with safety, just get ready for a 45 min subway ride from the city.
I'll try my best to make it, our office is in brooklyn and we've been working nightly 'till midnight but maybe i can catch a break on tuesday
lvhrd is having a sexy event on tuesday..photo duel (if anyones goes to the architecture duels they have..pretty fun) http://phthrd.lvhrd.com/
open bar for 22 bucks
great, can't wait to see y'all! I'm hopping on a plane in just a few hours, so if anything changes just make sure that Living in Gin knows so that he can pass it on.
Medusa, I think you're on to something. I'll call Lorely on Sunday or Monday and try to reserve a table under "Archinect" since we've had this recognition issue in the past.
Looking forward to seeing those of you that I've met before and meeting those of you that I haven't...
detroiter just snooping in on the new yorkers. at the last detroit meet up, i propped up a coaster against an ashtray with "ARCHINECT?" printed in black sharpee. the trying to guess who the archinects are is half the fun.
it was good meeting y'all... and brooklynboy, I remembered the name of that illusive place in Venice: the Canal Club. I was getting there, and remembered it about two minutes after I hopped on the train! Have a great visit to Cali.

Just to confirm: Lorely at 8 PM on Monday, right?
I might come through. So... at these meetups... How do people find each other? You just walk in and ask to be seated with "Archinect," or what?
Yes, Lorely at 8pm on Monday.
