I am considering acquiring certification (I'm in Ontario) and was wondering what you used as reference / study material.
The CaGBC website has LEEDS Canada-NC V 1.0 for download.
It also says that the Canadian exam should be available in a couple of months. I assume studying this should do - or is a training course worthwhile (level one)?
Thanks
Just completed the exam ( 2.0 ) I think next round you will need to have done a workshop or so the testing proctor indicated that people will have to apply and only those who actually done the workshops will be allowed to write. Perhaps a rumor ??? I would get the info off the USGBC site instead because the 1.0 won't help much if the exam is in fact based on 2.0 or 2.1 etc.
I studied the 2.0 reference guide mostly but checked out various web sites to review info etc. I would recommend it if I had more time to study.
By way of clarification:
LEED Canada v1.0 is the first fully Canadian version of LEEDS and is modelled on USGBC' v2.1 (so the introduction says...)
I think I will look into a workshop - my main concern is that it will be so basic (it's called level 1) to be of no practical use to an architect - the US website suggests an 'intermediate' level course for architects...
Thanks for the info Fulfiller / Whistler
