I'm a student doing my 2nd year of undergraduate architecture at a college in Bangalore,India. My aim as an architect is to do projects in future that are mainly towards social and cultural development, but I'm also really intent on teaching at some point.
I feel like I'm not growing as an architect at my college and innovation is not encouraged here. Everyone designs the same kind of RCC buildings and teachers are only focused on submissions and marks.
I want to know if it would be a good option to transfer to a university abroad to finish my UG and then get a Masters degree from the same college. Or would it be better if i stayed here, did my UG, and simultaneously internships and attend workshops, and then maybe go abroad for my masters?
Please help me make a decision as off late I've become very frustrated with the state of affairs.
Also, if anyone has any information on transfers,I would really appreciate it!
