career-oriented grad program: Cornell? UofM? WUSTL?

I just got admitted by those schools for a M.Arch program, but I am still debating on which one I should go, so I am hoping you guys could help me and shoot me some advice.

Since it is not the best time for the field, my first concern is whether the program would provide more connections and prepare the students for practical skills. I heard that Cornell are stronger than the others based on a couple of my friends and professors, but some also told me that locations are not a very important factor.

I graduated from UofM, so I feel it will be good to go somewhere else. The other thing is that Cornell put me into the 3.5 year program, so I am not sure if the knowledge and skills I will get during the 1st year will worth the time and tuition fees.

So anyone who might have a thought or experience on the issue; anyone who are having the same question, be free to leave a comment so we can start a good discussion on those issues.

Thanks!!
