Foam Cushion cutting and order Fulfillment

deforestm

I'm in LA.  I'm looking for a 3D laser mold cutter that can cut curves around a piece of high density foam cushion.  And then a distributor for fulfillment orders.

Pretty sure Sci-Arc, UCLA and USC have 6/7-axis machines that can do this

I worked in furniture manufacturing in the early 2000s and we built chairs ( I worked on the assembly line) for the Athens Olympics and other huge sporting venues, the tool we used and they still use to carve foam rubber for cushions is an electric carving knife.

Irwin seating can probably fulfill this order. but if it is less than 1000 pieces you might be better off doing it yourself

I don't believe foam is safe to cut with a laser.
