Just found out that the reason why I haven’t heard anything about federal financial aid from the two schools I got accepted to (Columbia GSAPP and UCLA) is they need proof of citizenship a.k.a. passport – which I HAVE, the problem is my passport has a misspelling on it – same name, same picture and everything, except the lastname is missing an “I”. If I send it in, will I get disqualified from FAFSA aid because of that error?
Not to be snarky, but isn't this rather important question better suited for the admissions or financial aid staff at GSAPP and UCLA, and not a bunch of strangers online? I recommend phoning the school offices if you want to know for sure. Good luck...
