Ok, so, maybe this been addressed in this forums before, i searched for it, and couldn't find it, so i would make the question, just in case someone can help me:
Does anyone knows a DWG viewer for OS MAC platform?, i just need a simple viewer in MAC, no editing needed, just a viewer.
i would appreciate if anyone knows a software, shareware, or (trustable) freeware who can do that in a MAC environment
thnx, i appreciate if we don't do this a PC vs MAC thread
phuyaka... yeah maybe i miss the ocus of the kind of software i need.... i mean yeah i can open them on illustrator, i personally use also the PC side on my MAC so im able to open them...
I BASICALLY want it for clients who are MAC users, and they have no clue have to open illustrator or archicad or anything... loking for something which almost can be used as simply as a PDF file, without us (the studio) wasting time on converting the dwg to a PDF file, basically just sending the DWG and the client opening tis ile and being able to see it....

I'm not sure if you have it, but I use Illustrator for viewing purposes. I haven't come across anything else yet.

yeah that might work actually....
for liability reasons, i'd prefer to spend the 15 seconds and make a pdf, which i then also file as a record of what was sent to them.
good point jeffe.... still, wont harm to know this basic viewer
solid works has a free dwg viewer for the mac called e-drawings. its a little funky, but it does let you open dwg files easily.
