here are some renderings that i did last semester using the new FormZ Renderzone Plus. I never used v4.0, but i've seen a big difference in the rendering with the new version. They added alot of new default materials (most are really realistic), and they also added some new lighting techniques, i would say its worth it, with a little bit of work on the lighting, its possible to get realistic renderings

Formz Renderzone Plus versus Regular Formz
I haven't used Formz since 4.0. Now I see that they have this new Renderzone Plus package that promises better rendering.
I always thought poor rendering was a weakness of Formz. Has anyone used the new GI tools and renderzone stuff?
If so, does it compete with other packages out there, like Vray or Cinema4D, etc?
