MBA in US for Marketing

Hi All,

Can you tell me about opportunities, eligibility criteria, required score for Admission  and list of universities which are good for MBA in Marketing in US? How much work-ex do they require for a good profile? currently am working in an MNC for last 1.5 yrs and aspire to study MBA in Marketing in abroad (US / UK preferably US)by 2013 fall. Can anyone throw some light on this subject?

A top MBA, like all of the ones above, is serious coin.  Their mission is to train brand managers in the highest profile companies and advertising account execs at the slickest agencies.  They are not to train marketers for architecture.  If you insist on the MBA, I suggest you do the lowest cost, highest quality one you can get your hands on.  Most of the people I've worked with who did marketing did it with architectural degrees and OJT, or no architectural background and learned it on the job.  Harvard, Northwestern, and Penn are SERIOUS investments, not to mention a ball buster, if you want to market in architecture and/or allied fields.  If you are SURE you want to make a change into marketing, they are worthwhile.
