Brooklyn 3-D Model
Doing my thesis project in the Gowanus Canal area of Brooklyn. Would really like to do a 3-D model of the area (or pieces of the area) to use on fly-throughs, or for animation for my final presentation. I'm familiar with 3ds Max and sketchup. I'd prefer to work in Max due to its animation and rendering abilities. Wondering if anyone has a .3ds or sketchup file of this area lying around and wouldn't mind sharing? It'd save me me some time and would really be helpful.
I'm currently working on a competition proposal for this exact area.
The competition website provides a .3dm model of the area. I've converted to dwg for Revit purposes, but it seems to be pretty light.
