I'm a part one student in the UK, finished one year-out job and ready to start looking for another, thinking of sending a short resume and a link to my online portfolio. I've just finished updating it, any comments welcome!
frameset.html home page is static, maybe spicing it up a bit, photo gallery a bit to extensive, perhaps narrowing down a selection, the power/PROFICIENCY meter tends to be gimmicky and could hurt a job hunt...
nice job. the white arrows obviously disappear on white backgrounds. cull the photos; seems like there are more photo's than architecture. i would add some text, something either at the beginning or at each project as a descriptor; something expressing your area[s] of focus. i didn't see any sketch up just simple and not overly cooked renderings. perhaps some ability to zoom and/or pan on some of the more detailed images.
oh, and don't send a resume with a link only, you should send a resume with some carefully selected images and some explanation about the link. you will be hired not soley based on your portfolio, keep in mind your skills in web design - i mean why else are you doing a web site? - and ability to communicate.
on my laptop, i can't navigate over to the left side of your resume/bio. if the window is small, i get to see 2005, but with no scroll bars. if i enlarge the window full size, i see 2006 and can tell there is more to the right, but can't see 2007...
