i found this http://www.schedium.org/ at the web, wonder if u guys know anything about it... is it organized by AIA? do u know anything about center for architecture or emerging new york architect commitee?

will give it a shot anyway.

sounds intriguing but also a little cryptic. would one create a portfolio of work FOR this application? or would you compile work already made? do you send original work or reproductions? i'm certainly not sending my sketchbook to anyone.

off topic but it reminds me of my first architect boss. upon being congratulated about the success of a gallery show of his drawings and watercolors he smiled, said 'thanks' but then said 'the only problem is i've taken apart my sketch books and given up all my f*&%ing travel drawings'.

SW I would feel the same, worse that the competition says that it won't return the submissions - eekk!

i would juz compile my previous work and make reproductions in A3 size format... i think not returning the submission is quite common to all competitions cos it will be costly for the mail charges and they ask ppl not to send reproductions.

since i'm not in the states, have anyone heard about center for architecture or emerging new york architect commitee, are they serious or real organizations?
