Career in Project Management after B.arch?

hello friendly friends,

I am a 4th year architecture student in New York, currently enrolled in B.arch 5 year program. I am interested in pursuing project management as a career. Of course one does not simply start as a project manager and thus I am seeking some guidance. What should I do? I am planning to continue education with a masters of science in construction management. I am also trying to learn some basic software like Microsoft Project and hopefully Primavera P6. I intern at a construction firm.

Also, Ms. Construction Management is not my final decision but it seems like that would help the most if I am thinking a project management type of position. I would like to know what other masters programs should I look at? Real Estate? M.arch II (doesn't seem like it will help unless I want to teach in college?)
