those of you who have applied to UCLA's M.Arch II program called SUPRASTUDIO know that you need to submit a printed 200 word letter directly to the specific studio you're applying to. Does this waive the 7900 character statement of intent that is part of the online application to UCLA? from the suprastudio page I can only logically deduce that that is so, but nowhere does it say that exactly. Does anyone know for fact?
From what I understood, the hard copy 200 word letter replaces the 7900 character statement on the online application.
Regardless, I still filled out the online version with my original statement of intent, and sent the condensed 200 word statements with my portfolios to the department.
