i have installed an autocad 2005 upgrade here at the j o b, i have it registered, and everything, but when we open it, it immediately locks up the program. i was told by someone that there was a problem with autocad 2005 on XP and i am wondering if this is true or not... also, if anyone has any suggestions on it or similar problems let me know. thanks in advance.
my firm just did a massive install (peer to peer network firm) and had no problems.
try removing and reinstalling if nothing else works. Also, have you installed xp svc. pk. 2. Not sure if there any any issues with that and then installing 05
We've had trouble installing older versions of AutoCAD while Norton Antivirus was running. I don't know if it applies to the newer version, but it's worth checking out.
