When is the latest date to take my GREs if I want the scores to safely arrive on time for the application deadlines?
I know that the application deadline date is different for every school, but lets say for the first week of december.
And how long does it take for the scores to be sent to a school from the day that the test is take?
If you're applying to 4 or less you have a bit more time...they let you put 4 schools on the test as you're taking it and they mail them directly...only about a 10-12 day lag period. However, if you have >4 or change your mind, you have to wait those 10-12 days to receive your scores, THEN call or mail in an "additional score report" request which takes another 10+days (and of course, an additional cost! :)
GREs dont mean a thing..........good portfolio, strong undergrad school/gpa and good recommendations.......most schools wont let GREs stop u from attending.....its just a general university bullshit requirement
Safe date to take GREs

All this info can easily be answered on the GRE and schools you're applying to websites.
i remember seeing on harvard's website a few days ago that they suggest taking the GRE no later than October...
