Help Needed for CAD: Saving Blocks at Home and Use it in Office. How?

Gyo

Hey guys,

I need some help here. I was told to create some blocks in autocad. I was supposed to do this in the office. But now I brought my work back home to do.

If I save the blocks at home, will I be able to insert it later in the office?

Or I have to go the the block folder on my comp, and back it up and then bring it to office. If that is the case, how do I do that?

Thanks!

if you save your block in a .dwg, then the block is in that drawing.  open that drawing at the office and the block will still be there, and you can still copy the block out of that drawing into another one.

a block is not an xref.
