I've been asked to find an interior wall application that will transform into a slatwall when pressurized by wind.
The system will be adjacent to a mechanical room and for all intensive purposes should have the appearance of a standard wall outside of rare emergency situations.
The idea is that the transformation would be triggered by the smoke alarm system, thus releasing pressurized air (through the transformed slat/louvered wall) to combat the smoke evacuation emergency (or so I understand it).
Not sure where to start. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.
