Over the last couple of months, i've read:

Mao: the untold story, also by Jung Chang
Riding the Iron Rooster, by Paul Theroux
Red Dust, A path through China, by Ma Jian

Now I'm re-reading the novel Noble House, James Clavell

Oh yea, I am currently reading:

Oracle Bones: A Journey Between China's Past and Present by Peter Hessler

This has been an interesting read because it is written by an American expat journalist who becames enthralled with Chinese history and his current experience in Beijing.
