Hello everyone. I was wondering if you could help decide if I am in good academic standing to apply to prestigious MArch I programs. I noticed that the GSD's website says that their successful applicants generally have a GPA of 3.3 or more, and I'm wondering if that is actually true.
Here are my stats. Let me know what you think:
I went to a top 10 nationally ranked (by USNews) liberal arts college were my GPA was:
3.4 overall
3.3 in my major (urban affairs)
3.3 in my last two years
I am currently enrolled in a virtually unknown City Planning Masters program within a highly regarded, top 50 nationally ranked university, where my GPA has been 3.4 in the first year.
I am going to attend the GSD's Career Discovery Program this summer, so that should help with my portfolio and possible recommendations, but I am still wondering to what extent my GPA will be an obstacle.
Interpreting my GPA

Any insight will be helpful.
Don't worry. I heard a strong portfolio would make up.
You cannot do anything about your GPA at this point. Come up with a strong portfolio.
I am in the same boat
