mxs

I am going backpacking through Europe and need suggestions on projects to see in Prague, Munich, Florence and Rome...! If you were there recently , or know of any nice projects that are worth seeing, please comment! Thanks,

... Europe? Not very many interesting things to see there, I would just stay home ...

Seriously though, maybe if you gave us a bit more information about what you wanted to see - Old stuff? New stuff? Everything? 'Buildings in Europe' is a pretty broad topic.

:_) ... no problem here with dressing funny, using public transportation, sitting down to have a coffee and taking it easy on sundays:_) I am going in September, so the weather should be fine.I'll be mostly in Prague, Munich, Florence and Rome. All the 'old stuff' is already in the guidebooks...I am mostly looking for some nice contamporary work that I overwise wouldn;t find. I already have some projects by Herzog and de Meuron to see in Munich, couple of buildings in Rome, but just wanted some more on the list, if you know of any:_)

funny you say that mdler... I don't know about Germans but americans are usually portrayed here [in Europe] as fat (nowadays directly obese) middle-aged people dressed with "casual" wear, the most ridiculous the most american... like going to the office with a suit and sport shoes.. :p

Thanks! This is exactly what I was hoping for when I opened the topic:_) the thongs are a great addition though... I'll be in Munich for about 8 days, so I can try to plan as much as I can in. Thanks again. great list.

I defintely want to see Zumfor's Kunsthaus and Baumschlager works in the center. Is it all walking distance in the center? Just have to think about safety travelling alone and being a girl:_) I can spend a day or two there... and then go on through Innsbruck. Defintely want to see the list.
