i actually picked up a copy of 7 houses 4-5 years ago at mit press' bookstore up in cambridge (which was the last one i needed to fill out the iaus series that it's a part of). you might want to call them to see if they have an extra copy hanging around.
if you don't need the actual book (it sounds like want it, though), mit press will make a copy of any out of print title in their catalog. also, they have a really good list of used bookstores that they apparently ship some of their remainders off to on occasion.
I'm with stephanie, I think this is an awesome idea. I too would be interested in finding things, I don't know if I necessarily would have anything to offer.
