I am a first-year architecture student at the University of Detroit Mercy (it is a 5-year master's program). Our entire architecture school is doing an assignment where we split up into teams and design a studio (my group is designing the master's studio). We are designing these in hopes of winning and our design be chosen to get funded. Anyway, my question is: what are some things that are essential to have in an architectural design studio?
you might want to check out um and ltu's studio spaces if you have time. personally I loved the decrept state of udm's studio spaces. no worries about taking care of anything when everything is already trashed
