Finding the year a Victorian terraced house was built

Miao

Could you tell me if this is the best forum to find about the origin of a house?

I would like to know when about this London Victorian terraced house was built. There was a house on the site since the 18th century. This one is said to have been built around 1850 but I have some doubts. In addition, James Pullen (builder of the Pullen's Estates) bought it around 1898 and may have transformed it.

Does it look like it belongs to a very specific time?

I haven't found anything about it in the local archives.

Thanks

Try searching (google, local gov't websites, local historical society websites, online newspapers--many go back in time) the name of the neighborhood, and street name.  Search the Hall of Records for land deeds.  Search James Pullen in any and all of these sources.

Historical research is fun detective work.  You'll learn other interesting things about the place in the process.
