Congrats on the kid sed, i'm sure you'll be fine. My granparents managed to raise a family of 9 and my granddad was just a laborer. Then again, things were cheaper back then.
Sorry to be the downer but nothing scared me more into working harder than being a father, having said that the idea of being a dad shaped what I did, how I did things and how I conducted myself. I am very proud to have worked harder to make a better life for my family because of the experience.....good luck.
congrats!!! lately as i watch friends overjoyed by their new babies, i have started to get a little jealous for one of my own... i'm glad you have a reason to be overjoyed! :)

Actually its been 8 weeks now and he's a wonderful baby - he actually smiles when he wakes up in the morning - much better than grumpy papa !
