i am looking for a place that sells cool screen prints and/or lithographs. where is a good site to check that stuff out? also, what are some of your favorite artists?
I use water based inks from TW as I do not want to use a retarder etc, to deal with vinyl printing...Speedball also works...just make sure you use the water based acrylic
thanks ya'll...I think you can pick out the factor27 work that is mine...it is some of the more 'designery' work we did.
Spreenprinting is a blast. Such a tactile process oriented way of making...You can get into it for rather cheap...get metal frame screens (they are worth it) because the don't warp with water contact. Also, get a finer mesh to printer finer detailed work. And speedball inks are much cheaper than TW, and allow for an economical entry into the medium.
Other than that, if you have questions just search the boards over at gigposters.
art, screen prints, posters?
