Not too many things escape the Gowanus Canal alive. So far it's looking good for the lil' fella.

Screw Whole Foods... I want to see the new Fairway at Red Hook.
There was a review of the Red Hook Fairway's in-store restaurant in today's NY Times. Not very positive, I'm afraid. Hey, just ask the whale!

With all the stuff going on the past week, he was a bright spot. Now... no more.
yeah i heard he died yesterday sometime i guess.......do you think he really was coming inshore to die? or did the Gowanus canal do him in?
