they are mostly all architects...i know that one of the owners worked for polshek, piano, and foster. they are definitely becoming the go-to people for progressive high-performance exterior envelopes...they basically are all very detail oriented designers that want to push exterior detailing as far as it can go.

We've had Marc Simmons, one of Front's principals, come and give a lecture in the fall and they're basically a specialist façade consulting practice. They don't actually design the buildings, they collaborate with famous architects (Nouvel, SANAA, ... etc.) on designing and fabricating façades. They use mainy CATIA and a lot of computation in their work. I think they're very interesting if you wanna focus on technology.
