there's a mix of good and bad on there, but it's definitely worth a look!

get your hands dirty first...... understand wood grain and materials..... and glues/epoxy/solvents/stains/clears/structure/etc b
why would you assume he/she hasn't?
just putting it out there...... just like when people ask about model building stuff........ need a laser for it.... but yet cant run a table saw...... b
make sure you can sit in whatever you make for 30 mins 2. consult a structural engineer the advice given to me by the only person I knew who made a living from her furniture designs
how bout if it's a table? and a structural engineer for furniture?
i'm good on the wood tools. i grew up in my father's wood shop. thanks for the concern. it's a bed. i will not be consulting a structural engineer. if i can't design a stable bed frame, then i shouldn't be an architect.
and i was kinda looking to design on with the precedents of things like this:http://gusmodern.com/http://www.senseofplace.uk.com/gallery.htmhttp://www.reveal-designs.com/products/ architecturally designed hardware for wood .... etc.
