arrested development could be used to describe both me and my architectural ambitions
there's a certain absorption of the status quo that goes into maturity; one 'accepts' to be a part of the 'adult world', so there's an aspect of 'I'm a big kid and I'm just not having it!' probably goes into inventiveness
i went to the optician/ophthalmologist scoping out some cool eyewear and she said the only thing guaranteed when you turn 40 is that your sight goes bad. I said, really? She said guaranteed!
funny doctor lady...if only I knew I was gonna become mature too, i wouldn't of bought those glasses
you know you are old when you are watching Saturday Night Live on Saturday night, and also do not know the host or musical guest....LOL discuss, talk amongst yourselves
MATURITY
"He had high level of maturity which made him profoundly ordinary."--Alfred E. Neuman

It's been said that age is a very high price to be paid for maturity.
is this in response to me?
haha, I wonder why you think so mdler???
perhaps? (Im not saying it is, Im just thinking outloud at your question, which questions the post)

love that quote, especially 'profoundly ordinary'
similar idea:
“Moderation in all things, including moderation.”
Buddha
the only thing im extremist about is freedom...
I'm extreme about my choice of soft drink... or maybe I'm just Xtreme.
when do you know you are mature?
Is it something you wake up one day and, "hey - from now on, i'm mature damnit"
or perhaps as you blow out the candles on the 30th year to the day of your birth a switch flickers in your brain...kids time is over!
Which is better and why?
A wise mature individual
or
a young new generation free thinker?
