I'm a UMD alumni - but I graduated with a master's of software engineering from the computer, mathematical and physical sciences department, not Architecture. The department, the program and the professors were excellent and I would recommend the program to anyone.

I'm actually a UMD undergrad alum, found it to be a great place to get an introduction to the discipline. Can't speak to the grad program, though.
