I'm pretty new to maya and am having difficulties importing 3d files produced in other programs into maya for rendering. I have 3d model files in both vectorworks (which i can export as dwg/dxf) and autocad dwg. Trouble is I can't seem to import them into maya. Anybody have any help/suggestions/advice please???....
