I'm studying interior architecture since a year now, but I'm still having some issues with some plans that I simply do not understand. I received a plan containing 3 sections: AA, BB and the main thing. I took a picture of them:
From what I understand, on the front; there is a door with a window on the top, something like this:
But what about the other side, is it just a small window on top of the main rectangular window?
If section A is facing the "other side" then yes, its just a fixed large window with another unfixed transom window that reflects the other elevation. This would be to allow cross ventilation and light while keeping the door closed.

Maybe it's one of those windows that tilt open for ventilation without compromising security, as well as swing open for cleaning?
