hI, yes, the conference is taking place on june 14-16. the site is still in construction but will be uup this week. it's gonna be quite interesting, not only because of the theme of the lectures, but because the speakers are from all over america, and they all have very different approaches to architecture.
nop, no architects from the caribbean will be speaking this time, though there will be an optianal "architectural tour" at the end of the conference to the caribean side of Costa Rica, guided by a specialist on the topic.
Looks like an interesting conference. I have no idea what the architecture scene is like in Central and South America currently. Wish I could be there.

check out the sites of the speakers... they can give you an idea of what is going on on this side of the continent... pretty good stuff!!
