Any thoughts/ revelations/ advice from those who have taken the plunge over from Architecture to the Film/ Entertainment Industry? What are you doing now? Was it a worthwhile/ fulfilling cross-over? What made up your mind to explore other horizons?
don't do it. 'nuf said. I'm back on the arch side and much happier.
Are you talking about being "in film" - directing, writing, acting..... or do you mean being a set designer / 3D design / other design services? I always wanted to be a miniatures builder for stop-motion animation movies.
Prior I whored myself to rich clients. Now I whore myself to rich producers. It was quite a stretch really to go from 3d modeling to 3d modeling. But in the end, I like them both... pretty much the same.
