Ecclesiastical architecture

G4tor

Just wondering if there were any firms in the US that specializes in ecclesiastical architecture (i.e. churches). I heard my friend mentioning a nonprofit that does specifically churches in Texas and was wondering if there are similar practices elsewhere in the States.

They have done ALOT of ecclesiastical architecture. The firm was Constantine George Pappas http://www.cgp-architecture.com/religious.htm I did a Catholic Church studio last semester and we had to look for a case study (ended up instead doing Cathedral of Christ the Light by Skidmore Owings and Merrill)

CGP Architecture seems do a lot of ecclesiastical buildings based on their site, but they also do other building types. I think it would be hard to find a firm that specifically focuses on religious buildings as you would need to make money and stuff (like how often are churches commissioned? and there are other projects that generate more income for a firm I believe)
