Hello, I would like to say I think this is a great forum. Most people reply to questions honestly and are very helpful. It has been a great way to get advice from people who aren't in my design circle. In the link below I posted a question allong with 2d rendered drawings.
I believe the consensus was that my drawings needed work in terms of lineweight and reading 3 dimensional. I made some changes on an elevation drawing to make it read better, changed the shadows a bit and some lines darker. In your opinion what are the strengths and weaknesses of this updated drawing? What should I add or get rid of to make this read better as a presentation drawing?
in my opinion there isnt just one answer to your question, a 100 people would give you a 100 different answers. looking at other works will help you decide what and how you would like to portray your presentation.
have a look at this website, i found it very useful
Sergei Mikhailenko-holy crap that guy has talent! His style is similar to mine except a lot grittier and more realistic than mine.He also has a great sense of light and shadow. I am starting to learn photo realistic modeling programs, hopefully when I become more experienced with them,I will be able to make drawings that good!
