Depends on your definition of "easy". And how finished looking a dome you are after. If you can find something with a smooth inside face of the right diameter (ball, blister pack, etc) you can use a technique called slushcasting with plaster (or resin if it needs to be more durable) to pull a pretty good dome without using too much material. You'd need to use some kind of form release.

foam ball.... comes in multiple sizes....or find a ball that will work and use fiberglass/resin/matte and make a mold
