actually they may well hav worked for/with h and dem. the project for romantic art in holland is also making use of a trick that h and dem used for an opera set design (with the poking shapes behind clothe thing)...
h + dem did the set design for tristan and isolde recently (you can see pics of it at back of a+u special issue august 2006).
same technique that 24h used in the romantic exhibition. with unclear, slightly mysterious shapes making their presence felt by pushing up hard against the back of the fabric wall, deforming it, adding interest etc. pretty much exactly the same technique and effect for both projects makes me suspect some connection...don't know why i should think so, other than the idea that they pilfered more than one project from a famous archi-firm seems too stupid to me. they would have to be seriously willfully in denial to be doing that....
then again maybe they are just stupid. doesn't look like it, but never know. ;-)
Its a copy/paste of the HdeM render, check out the patterns in the lights. They've just matched the perspective of their lower building and p'shopped the colours.
Def the most outrageous bit of plagarism I've seen since a student did a copy/paste of van Berkels Mobius House for a uni assignment ... still passed to.

When I saw p23 of the PDF I didn't get the H&DeM rip-off, but thats because its on page 76 -- and jesus IS it a rip-off, literally!!
